It all started with a vision for an accessible, online marketplace where all the community could come together as one to sell their wares efficiently. We envisioned fair prices, for high quality artwork and home goods made by Indigenous hands. The word "Zibi" in ZibiMade means "River" in our native Algonquin tongue, and comes from our band's name of Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg.

The expertly curated collection at ZibiMade is refreshing. The artist's individual dedication to expressing their heritage in the physical mediums they use is obvious in every piece I've seen. And to say the prices are fair for these one-off pieces of hand-made art is quite the understatement to those who know the true time that goes into making these pieces.
